Witness for the Prosecution is a 1957 American courtroom drama film. The film is based on a short story (and later play) by Agatha Christie. It stars Tyrone Power, Marlene Dietrich, and Charles Laughton, and features Elsa Lanchester.
Leonard Vole is arrested on suspicion of murdering an elderly acquaintance. He employs an experienced but aging barrister as his defense attorney.
